The interview process was with Mr. Jeff Watson and Mr. Craig Slama, two very experience structural engineers. Mr. Watson is a little intimidating but is a very nice person if you get the chance to speak to him after work hours.
The interview goes by them asking more about you and what you do just to get to know the person.
Then comes the technical part of the interview. They pass a booklet with engineering related questions and they want to see how you answer the questions. No calculator is required as there are no figures associated with the questions. But there are a lot of questions.
The two P.Eng.'s will review how you tackle a problem and will ask you about tributary areas, soils bearing capacity, moment in frames and beams, and will ask you to draw shear and bending moment diagrams on the spot.
Good luck to anyone who gets the interview.
