I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (Arlington, TX) in Mar 2010
Interview
I was first pre-screened over the phone by a recruiter who asked a few questions about my experience with call center environment and sales. She invited me for an in-person interview about a week and a half later.
She asked me about a specific time when I dealt with an irate customer.
The in-person interview was very focused on my experience dealing with specific types of situations with customers. Basically they want to know how you react with difficult people.
They will make you role play a live situation where one interviewer acts as an irate customer and you have to solve an issue for him.

Interview
The interview process was fairly easy. The questions were simple questions that asked about previous work experience, how many years of customer experience you had, and expectations at Chase. The interview process was about two weeks. I received a call from a recruiter who assisted me with scheduling an interview time. After the interview, their is about a week wait time. Afterwards, your recruiter will get in touch with you and let you know where to take your badge photo and your drug test.

-Online application and assessment
-Phone Interview
-5 Panel Interview (Basic Scenario interview questions)
-Fingerprint if hired
-Drug test if hired
Overall it was pretty quick the whole hiring process, the only part that was a little nerve racking was the group panel interview, all i can say is just be yourself, confident and honest with all your responses and you should do great. If hired they will take you through the fingerprinting process and the drug test. Before hitting the floor and taking calls they will give you about 10-12 weeks of classroom training and live call training. Great company to work for, one of the best!
