      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (Brandon, FL) in Jul 2012

      Interview

Last Thursday I applied for Chase online. The next day (Friday) I received an Email stating they were interested and to call recruiter. After calling the recruiter I had a short interview which she called a screening. It went well and she passed my information onto the branch manager. I get a call the on Monday to schedule and interview. The next day Tuesday I receive two calls an hour apart from two other local branches I applied to stating they were interested and wanted to schedule an interview. So now I have three interviews with chase. So today July 5th 2012 I go to my first interview. I wait for approximately 10 minutes. The staff was friendly and talked with me a bit. Now the interview is a script. She had my resume stapled with what she was going to ask me. First she asked about my current jobs and why I had left them. Easy enough just dont make it sound like you hop from job to job. She then asked me some questions basically about customer service which are What is customer service? How does it look and sound? Name a time you had an angry customer and explain what you did and the outcome. She then asked experience questions. Have you ever balanced a cash box? What is the most amount of money you handled? What is the largest amount of money you mishandled? She then asked Why chase? That was all. She had to interview 9 people and I was only the second person. I'll keep updated. Ok so unfortunately I didn't land that job. I would assume because I didn't speak spanish which was preferred. Or maybe under qualified. A business is a business so I never have hard feelings. But at my second interview the guy asked the same questions and also informed me that they pick a couple of questions to ask. So there are more on there but wasn't asked anything different from the first one. I hope this can help someone land a job just be confident, listen, smile and don't ramble on or start any irrelevant conversations not pertaining to the position you applied for and the questions they ask.

      Interview

The interviewer asks a bunch of situational questions that try to test your critical thinking skills, but it's a challenge especially if you don't have much on the job experience.

      Interview

Straightforward. Calm. Very congenial. Nice people smart and honest. Would definitely consider working here given the caliber of talent. Quantitative questions werent too difficult. Just some math like addition subtraction multiplication division and quadratic equations.
