I interviewed at JPMorganChase (Boston, MA) in Dec 2025
Interview
Lots of technical and behavioral questions. Used lots of critical thinking skills and problem solving skills. Also lots of situational questions that are looking for how you approach the question and your thought process through the problem.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you used data to influence a decision?
I recently interviewed for a graduate role at J.P. Morgan and found the process structured, professional, and clearly designed to evaluate both technical skills and cultural fit.
Stage 1 – Online Assessment:
The initial assessment focused on situational judgement, numerical reasoning, and some basic problem-solving tasks. The questions were realistic and related to scenarios you may actually encounter at the firm.
Stage 2 – HireVue Video Interview:
The HireVue included mostly behavioural questions such as “Tell me about a time you worked under pressure” and “Why JPMorgan?”. There were also role-specific prompts that tested my understanding of financial markets and my motivation for applying. The AI-based format can feel slightly impersonal, but the questions were fair.

Question 1
“One of the questions they asked me was to describe a time when I worked under pressure or had to solve a challenging problem. They wanted to understand my approach to problem-solving and how I collaborate with others.”
Applied on their website, was then sent a coding challenge to complete. After completing, I was then sent a hirevue with questions to answer. After that, I had to complete another interview with someone from the company.
