A lot of waiting around at that interview. It was supposed to be at 11:30, but didn't start until 2:15. It was a panel-style interview, and only one of the three interviewers spoke English, so someone had to translate everything. They only asked two or three quick resume questions—nothing in-depth, probably because of the language barrier. And they didn't even have me explain any work scenarios where I had to perform certain tasks. I spent seven years in manufacturing, so I was surprised they didn't ask about my factory work.
I was not offered the position. They did not say why. However, I believe that interviewers with stronger English comprehension might have better understood my experience and qualifications, potentially leading to a different outcome.
