Had a phone interview, was asked to submit dates for interview with managers. Never heard back again. Not even a courtesy email that said we are moving in another direction.
We are so sorry you did not hear back from us in a timely fashion. Our client needs change rapidly sometimes and it is a challenge to keep up with all the correspondence. We have since hired an additional recruiter to help with our hiring surges. You can always email us at Careers@JPSYS.com to check on the current status of the labor category for which you applied.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at J P Systems
Interview
I applied online. The first interview was with HR and then a panel interview with the CEO, COO, and the hiring department. It was a two-month process. With so many people in the panel interview, there was not enough time to ask a lot of questions. Many situational and behavioral questions related to the job title/description but nothing too out of the ordinary. Requested four references.

Question 1
What major challenges/problems did you face as a program analyst and how did you handle them?
I applied online. I interviewed at J P Systems in Nov 2016
Interview
After applying for a job at this company online, I received a phone call a few days after at 8:45 pm from a recruiter. First red flag! Recruiter was based in Colorado, so I guess he didn't realize how strange it was to call someone in the Eastern time zone on a weeknight at this time. What rubbed me the wrong way were a few things. The recruiter (who I later found out was a contractor - this appears to be the standard w/ small companies these days!) NEVER asked me if I had any questions during the phone screen. Red flag #2! Secondly, after our phone screen, he strung me along for over a week by telling me that he expected a 2nd phone screen to happen with an interview panel a few days after our initial phone screen. He essentially kept saying it would be in the next few days and that he would confirm the date and time by reaching out to me to schedule it. Except he never reached out to me and I had to keep checking in with him. He did this at least three times -- he kept saying that the 2nd phone interview would be "soon". In our final communication, he finally came out and said that the company is interviewing other candidates for the position. In other words, they may have not felt my skills were a good fit for the position after reviewing my resume. Honestly, I do not believe this to be the case -- I was clearly qualified because the recruiter would not have contacted me in the first place. I am positive that it was based on my salary requirements. Yet another recruiter that is just not open and honest about salary. Next time, just come out and say that the salary for the position is below what I'm looking for. That way, you do not waste people's time (or get their hopes up by promising a 2nd interview). Overall, the recruiter shed a negative light on this company for me. If you want to work for a place that has no transparency in its hiring practices, then this is the place for you! By the way, my phone screen with the recruiter was scheduled at a certain time and he called me 15 minutes before the start of the screen. I thought that was very rude. People schedule interviews at certain times for a reason (i.e. I'm trying to interview without my current employer knowing!), so please call people at or a little after the start of the scheduled time.

Question 1
Since I am required to fill this section out, the most unexpected question was are you available to speak now?
Thank you so much for taking the time to send us your feedback regarding your recent recruitment experience. We apologize that your encounter with us did not meet your expectations and that we created an unclear process for you. We can not always tell which time zone you are in from your job application. Part of our HR Dept is located in Colorado. Many people prefer to be contacted at night when they are not at work.
We greatly appreciate your specific examples and will use them to improve the experience for future candidates. Best of luck in your future endeavors! -
J P Systems.
