I sent in a resume and was hired with very little difficulty due to the fact they had lost someone mid-quarter. They called two days after I submitted my resume/cover letter, and they wanted a same day interview. The interviewer was kind and willing to increase pay based on experience, but the whole place just reeked of desperation.

Basically, the interviewer just confirmed my resume experience and asked a couple questions about my teaching philosophy. Hired me on the spot.

Interview
A number of Korean people who did not speak any English interviewed me and did not even read my resume. I had prepared my portfolio and my resume to demonstrate my skills and preparation. I replied with a lot of excitement because I thought I was leaving a good impression.
