I applied through a job board and had an interview with the recruiter which went pretty smoothly. The 2nd part of the process was a SQL test which was pretty simple and standard and then I was scheduled for a call with a Director who was very rude and unfriendly. My interview experience with the Director was very bad and he made me feel uncomfortable from the 1st minute.

I received an email requesting availability for a phone screen. Screen was scheduled. Recruiter never showed up. Recruiter rescheduled, then called 30 minutes before the scheduled interview to see where I was. He apologized and we had the phone screen as originally scheduled, where one of the key points was that they were not hiring close to the top of the range they provided (why have the range if its not accurate?). Next I completed the coding assessment, at which point I was asked to provide my availability for Hiring Manager interview. I did so, and then was informed that my interview was scheduled when I was not available. I reached out two times, and received a new interview time. After waiting for 10 minutes, the hiring manager never showed up. If a company can't even get the basic interview process down, I can only imagine the nightmare waiting for me if I joined. Happy to have dodged a bullet! I was excited to apply and work for this company
