Interview
I was flown for engineering manager interview from west coast to east coast after settling on a compensation number.
The interview process is just meet and greet. The more I talked to them the more I realized they have no idea what they are doing.
They want to be a startup but mentally and work wise they are a typical east coast with politics and low engineering prows.
They made me an offer which was 70k below my ask and also downgraded my level.

Resume submission through emails and then followed up with phone interviews and conference call presentations with members of their R&D team. Terrible logistical coordination and passive aggressive undertone from their hiring manager.
