A recruiter emailed and scheduled for a phone video interview with a team member. The recruiter did not provide any detail on what to expect in the interview. No information whether they will discuss about published papers or machine learning/deep learning topics. Did not provide any reference. On asking multiple times via email, the recruiter mentioned "You will be asked that you already know, nothing difficult". I was under the impression that it will be research project related discussion. But just the day before the interview, the recruiter sent a coderpad invitation with no further clarification. On the day of the interview, the interviewer started asking questions from computer vision coursework related topics - to write the formulas and explain each term. The interviewer also asked random coding question and design it as a machine learning problem.
