The phone interview was extremely basic. Just questions about my background and work experience.
It got really weird though when it was my turn to ask questions. I asked very very basic questions. I asked for information about benefits. The recruiter said “I really don’t know. I’ll find out and send you the info” (she also didn’t send anything after the fact)
Also, since the role was specific to Fiat Chrysler, I asked how long the contract is with them. Her response was “Well, there’s no end date. It goes until it ends” That is total nonsense, and since I was a referral I happen to know it is a 4 year contract.
I stopped asking questions at this point because I knew this person was completely incapable of having a conversation.
