Everyone I spoke to at Instacart (~6 diff individuals in total) were friendly, intelligent and excited about the company. I left the process confident it was a place I wanted to work.
The case study was nothing out of the ordinary. You will be presented with a business question and a set of data. Analyze and put together a short presentation. The instructions mention it should take no more than 2 hours to complete, which felt about 4 hours short of what it should have been.
Unfortunately, after all of the interviews and time spent preparing I was completely 'ghosted' by the company. I reached out to my HR contact following the final interview, we scheduled a call where I was told a specific day in which I would be notified whether I was being given an offer or not. That day came and went, I sent another follow-up and never heard anything.
