I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Instabase
Interview
I applied through a referral, and the HR scheduled an interview. During the interview, I was asked to complete an assignment, after which I was told they would contact me regarding the next steps.
I completed the assignment and submitted it on time, but received no response. Despite sending multiple follow-up emails, there was no communication. Eventually, I was informed that the position had already been filled and was closed.
If there was already a candidate in the pipeline whose interview process was nearly complete, asking other candidates to invest significant time in assignments without proper communication feels unprofessional and disrespectful of their time.
Overall, it was a disappointing experience due to the lack of transparency and communication throughout the process.

Question 1
My experience duirng internship, what i have done and all
A recruiter reached out and scheduled a 15-minute call. The actual call lasted about 5 minutes: the recruiter briefly introduced himself and asked about my tech stack. There was no discussion of next steps, compensation, etc. He mentioned needing to confirm with his manager and said he'd follow up the next day. Received a template rejection email the following day. Overall felt like the role may have already been filled before the call took place.
I applied online. I interviewed at Instabase (New York, NY) in Jan 2025
