The interview was internal, where they asked situational questions regarding people managing. Interview was with an HR person and one of the owners. Then they let know over email about if the position, and then conversed about offer letter post interview.

Interview

It was very personal. No script. More of a conversation. I believe the owner had not interviews many people prior to interviewing me. I was one of their earliest employees.

Because of my background they seemed concerned that I wouldn't be satisfied with the pay. They asked if I was ok starting at minimum wage.

I was already friends with the person managing at the time and I was a regular at the shop, so the interview was pretty laid back. All of the questions I was asked were fair, and would've given anyone a good feel for what type of employee they look for.
