This company has one of the most pathetic processes when it comes to recruitment.
Don't get me wrong; Really good people work here - But the HR is really bad at communication.
There are 4-5 technical rounds - Taken by your possible colleagues as well as by Head of Engineering and CTO. And I really liked that.
Technical rounds were about what you typically do at work, translation of what you would be doing at Insider, System Design, Culture fit, etc. Interviews weren't too tough if you are good at what you do, and the tech team is very sane.
However, the recruitment process is crass. They round up a bunch of candidates, take interviews, and as soon as they feel a candidate is worth hiring - They ignore the rest. Then the candidate they sent the offer to, doesn't join because Insider tried to save a few bucks and failed to give a better offer. Then, Insider resumes interviewing the rest, and again, they found a candidate - made an offer. And started ignoring the rest.
And by ignoring, I mean not interviewing them, despite candidates passing the previous rounds - and not responding to their phone calls.
Very disappointed to see lack of ethics - And yeah the one who got the offer is a friend who will be ditching Insider in the joining day. Karma.
