No phone interview - this could have avoided a wast of my time
Meeting was super unprofessional in the owners office. Owner was doing his own thing during the interview and was very disrespectful. Texting, starting side conversations, etc.
One of the side conversations was about the employees they’ve gone through. Even the director jumped into that.
The HR person leaned over and asked how much I would need for compensation and I gave her my current salary - reasonable right?
To which the “director” then said my 6 years of experience wasn’t valid and they could only pay lower than entry level.
I was offended, I wish this was covered on the absent phone interview in which would have saved me this time.
I formally withdrew my application.
