I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Infobip (Zagreb) in Sep 2025

      Interview

I went through two rounds of interviews, so different it seemed like I was interviewing for two different job positions. The departments in the company seemed async and the whole process was very unorganized.

      Product Manager Interview

      Sep 30, 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Infobip in Sep 2022

      Interview

I was told that, quote on quote: "The objective of this call will be to tell you more about Infobip and to get to know you a bit better." Resulting, the first interview had no "to get to know you A BIT better", because I was not asked any personal, cultural or background related questions. It was straight away conversation about my previous jobs and what I have done. Not that I was not prepared, but I was totally caught of guard, meaning that the email didn't mention prior to our meeting that we will be FULLY discussing the role and the process of my work. Also, another thing that really confused me is that, during our email exchanges, we were communicating in my native language, English. Meaning that I was fully preparing myself to have a "get to know me A BIT better" conversation in my native language. Once the interview started, it completely started off in a foreign language, no warnings, where I would have to completely change the whole setting. With 7 years of experience, I know that a product manager is a serious job with serious key points that need to be discussed in precise detail, meaning it requires serious preparation, no matter how senior you are. Which again I was not aware of, because nobody told me that was the subject of the interview and on top of that, I pretty much had about 8-13 minutes on the clock to answer all the questions. In another foreign language, no heads up. Also, during the interview, I was told that another person will be discussing the details of the Product Manager's position with me. Meaning I didn't have the opportunity to grasp the mental state of the conversation where I would elaborate on everything in details let alone talk about my personal successes and how I managed to take my previous project from a zero to 83 millions dollars market cap., and of course many others too. Taking a few days to let everything sink in and analyze the structure of the employee selection and what happened. With my experience, am 300% sure that with this methodology, the sales and managing department of this company must be utterly disastrous. Anyway, strongly do not recommend companies where you do NOT have a full on, detailed conversation before they decide anything.
