The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Indiana University in Jan 2007
Interview
It's a long-distance TV interview. I applied to the graduate school. There were three people facing the screen- two faculty members and a current graduate student. They started asking questions relevant to the personal statement. Then they asked me to describe my current research and interrupeted with questions. They will ask you to clearify certain steps and ask any follow-up steps.

Interview
The interview process was pretty chill, I reached out to the professor on email for the role; luckily he was on the hunt for an RA at that time. He revised my resume and then scheduled an in-person interview in his office. It was just some basic questions on what he needed an RA to do in his project and that whether I can perform the said work and I explained him how I have worked on a similar project before and I was hired!
