I applied to the Data Platform Services team and overall had a great experience. The process consisted of a behavioral screen with the Engineering Manager, a technical screen with an engineer on the team, followed by an onsite with 2 technical interviews (code review, system design, coding) and a behavioral interview with the manager. Unfortunately, I did not perform as well as I could have on one of the technical interviews so did not get the job.

Interview
Applied online, got an interview with a manager and we just talked about my experiences and what I’m looking for. Another interview three weeks later which was a standard technical interview (coding question). Lastly, an on-site interview another 3 weeks later (flight + hotel included). 4 45min rounds total, 2 interviewers each. There also a casual lunch break with another engineer. In between one of the rounds, a recruiter came in and asked about compensation expectations, which I found a little odd. The interviewers were all nice people, the questions were reasonable though not easy. As it was my first such on-site, it was a bit tiring by the end of it.

They included one about designing some app, talking about an own challenging problem I have faced, working with an engineer to solve a technical question, and time for my own questions at the end.
