Illinois Action for Children interview questions

Fairly long process with three interviews, a lengthy questionnaire and a writing test. Everything went fairly well, but I never heard from them again after the final interview. No one responded to my follow-up emails asking for the position's status. It was so unprofessional and strange! A status update and even feedback are the professional courtesies I would hope for after so much time and effort from both parties. I was really disappointed not to hear either way.
