Interview
The interview process lasted 2 months. First, you need to pass 5 self-paced assessments (cognitive, speaking, AI prompt engineering, AI interview, GTM strategy design) on the Crossover online portal. It will take you a few days. Upon passing, notification of an interview with a real person from the company is received on the portal. However, even after reaching out a few times, the interviewer ghosted me and did not schedule one until 1 month after I had passed all components. On the day of the interview, the interview time was changed without notice to 4 hours before the scheduled time. I consider this quite a disrespect towards applicants' time. Attended the interview, went fine and then progressed to another interview with CEO. CEO asked about the LLMs I use, although not a requirement for the role, and offered the rejection on the spot. Although the immediate feedback from the CEO is appreciated, it is overall a negative applicant experience with multiple red flags. Avoid wasting your time applying if you can.

Overall streamlined process and crossover challenges were good assessments—no delays whatsoever in the process. Interviews were on time. Had a below-required score in one assessment but still reached the interview stage and that challenge was discussed in that stage

Interview
I interviewed with Ignite Tech a few weeks ago. The process lasted 2 weeks.
The interview process involves passing a few tests on the platform Crossover. The first test is a cognitive aptitude test that focuses on logic and grammar puzzles. The second test is an English speaking/listening exam. And the next two tests are about AI. This will take a few hours in total. If you pass those you get a pre-interview with someone from HR, followed by an interview with the CEO, and then an interview with a team lead.
Everyone was nice, but there were things in the interview process that threw me off especially the final step. Once you get the offer the offer is conditional on you taking a proctored version of the cognitive aptitude test. You will be put into a call with someone who wants a 360 degree view of your workspace. They will make you use two webcams (your computer and your phone), and they will ask to look through your phone on screen share to make sure all your applications are closed. Similarly for your computer, they will also make you share your screen and ask you to turn off all your extensions as well as look through your activity monitor/ task manager.
All this for a 15 minute test that you take that is also being screen shared. The process is really invasive and it makes you feel like the company doesn’t trust their employees.
Furthermore, the job itself makes you install software on your personal computer that tracks your screen activity, keyboard strokes, mouse movements, and takes screenshots in order to get paid. There is also a feature that takes webcam pictures, but I was informed this was optional.
