I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at IXL Learning in Apr 2012
Interview
I submitted my resume to the company online and was contacted the following day about setting up a interview. Later that week, I had a phone interview with a member of their management team. The interviewer asked me to describe some of the items listed towards the top of my resume. I was also asked a brain teaser and given time to ask a few questions about the company. Following that interview, I was given access to their system and asked to complete an assignment on the types of features I would want to add to the site. Less than a week after submitting the assignment, I had a second phone interview with another member of the team. It was very similar to the first interview (i.e., brain teaser, questions about my resume, more information about the company).
Overall the interview experience was pleasant and quick. The only odd aspect of the process happened during the second phone interview. The interviewer asked if I was interested in a particular type of task. I responded no, but that I'd be willing to do it if necessary. Then the interviewer made a comment that the position might not be the best fit if I was interested in the types of tasks she described. It seemed as though she was trying to make me uninterested in the position.

Interview
Everyone was friendly in the interview process, however, it was a long process from start to finish. Initial interview with a recruiter, then a phone interview with hiring manager. After that, they will offer an in person interview typically.

Interview
I had an interview, they asked the typical interview questions and the same jelly bean riddle that everyone else said. Then I had to do a design assignment, which I had a week to complete. It was actually a bit of work and took me about the whole week to complete, with the fact that I'm a student with a part time job.

Interview
I interviewed with a member of the product management team. There wasn't a brain teaser. Questions are more leaning towards previous experience, projects, and how you would approach a design.
