I was approached by the Talent acquisition head via LinkedIn, and he scheduled an interview of the Test lead and Senior Software lead with me. The interview was very easy and smooth, It was more of a discussion as we had a common vision regarding the profile and the product on which they wanted to onboard me. Given the experience I have, the panel was all set to take me in. A couple of days later the Talen acquisition head confirmed my selection over a call. I had other positive offers in pipeline as well, but I was waiting for this opportunity so I can choose the best for me. But then suddenly after a couple of days I was told that they have moved ahead with someone else. I have no problem with the decision, the main issue is lack of professionalism here, as I was informed only when i asked about the status of official confirmation. They could have updated me directly, as it is so bad to put others at hold because of them.
