The guy was very dry and bland, almost like an interrogator. The interview started with asking about a project and then went straight into coding, and he was silent the entire time, just giving grunts when I asked clarifying questions. He was probably my worst interviewer yet and the dead silence made everything awkward.

The interview had two sections, a non-technical one and a technical one. The questions for the technical one were a bit out there in the sense as to whether they were useful questions (think: what does a certain language spec for a specific version of the language guarantee about as certain operation)
