      Marketing Specialist Interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at ING (Sydney) in Nov 2025

      Interview

The interview process with ING began on 12 December last year and consisted of three interview stages, including one onsite interview. The interviews themselves were professional, structured, and conducted by knowledgeable team members. Based on the interactions and time invested on both sides, the process appeared to be progressing in an organised manner. Following the final interview, communication ended. Two follow-up emails were sent in January requesting an update, neither of which received a response. After more than two and a half months from the original application date, a rejection email was eventually received. While it is understood that recruitment timelines can vary, the lack of interim communication after multiple interview rounds and an onsite visit created an experience that felt misaligned with the level of professionalism demonstrated during the interview stage. Clear and timely communication, particularly once candidates have progressed through several stages, would greatly improve the candidate experience and better reflect the organisation’s stated values.
