Job posting advertised on CRAIGSLIST on May 8th 2014. I applied within the hour. Both Customer Care Representative Manager & Business Dev. Manager called to do separate phone interviews after each other. Business Dev. Manager after the phone interview arrange for a in-person interview at their HQ in SF (SOMA) on 8th St. I thought it went well. I told them about my extensive experience in apparel regarding customer service and working with different co-workers & department logistically. I also showed my references from LinkedIn on a WORD document copy. And, last offered to give any contact phone number if needed. I had no impressions that I would not be picked to proceed to the next hiring step I unfortunately received a disappointing non-offer email. I guess you can't trust people's positive comments in an interview session. It makes me not have faith & trust in people & humanity. I replied I was disappointed but will persevere.
And sent them a web link to President Barack Obama stated 1/31/2014 - FACT SHEET: Opportunity For All – The President’s Call to Action to Give the Long-Term Unemployed a Fair Shot and a 2nd web link to President Barack Obama - 1/31/2014 (11th paragraph after the opening greetings) stated: "Somebody will look past that stretch of unemployment, put it in the context of the fact that we went through the worst financial and economic crisis in our lifetimes, which created a group of folks who were unemployed longer than normal. They just need employers to realize it doesn’t reflect at all on their abilities or their value".
