      Paid Media Manager Interview

      Jan 5, 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at IDP Connect in Jul 2023

      Interview

3 stages which included a HR round. The first stage was with HR, second stage with my future line manager, final stage was a presentation with the line manager and their line manager. Honestly, the overall experience was pretty bad! The more senior member seemed uninterested and arrogant. They made some remarks that dismissed my skills and pigeonholed me which was a bit presumptuous as they'd only spoken to me for less than 30mins at this stage!! The salary was much lower than the market average for this level and the culture seemed a bit off as well. The HR manager was great but the overall process took a long time and I had to prompt them a lot about securing dates for the next rounds after I'd been told I'm through to the next stage.
