      Executive Assistant Interview

      Mar 26, 2025
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ID.me

      Interview

The interview process spanned about a month and included four thoughtfully structured conversations. It began with a recruiter who provided a clear, strategic overview of the role and set strong expectations for the journey ahead. Each subsequent conversation—first with the hiring manager, then with cross-functional partners, and finally with senior leadership—was purposeful and engaging. I was impressed by the consistency in communication, the professionalism of everyone involved, and the authentic insight I gained into the organization’s culture and vision. The experience was both positive and energizing, and it reinforced my interest in joining a team that values clarity, alignment, and people.

      Question 1

One key question I was asked focused on how I navigate challenges in my role—specifically, how I leverage my skills to address complex situations and drive solutions with confidence and clarity.

      Interview

I interviewed with four individuals over the course of approximately three weeks. The process was well-structured and thoughtfully paced, allowing for meaningful conversations at each stage. What stood out most was the consistency across interactions—everyone I met was professional, welcoming, and engaged. Each interviewer took the time to share insights about the role, team, and company, which made the experience both informative and transparent. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I appreciated the level of organization, communication, and respect throughout the process.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at ID.me (McLean, VA) in Jan 2022

      Interview

Very recently I was in talks to join the Marketing team as their new EA, recently as in the last 3 weeks. I would really like to emphasize everything that I read before my interview about this company on Glassdoor definitely was a HUGE red flag, that I wish I went with my gut and listened to but I was so excited about the position, I didn't trust my intuition. First the interview process is lengthy, redundant, and quite frankly a waste of time. There is no position in the world not even a doctor that you need to have 6 behavioral based interviews when your resume should do 1/3 of the work before hand. I got through 2 interviews and was scheduled to meet with Jean who is the Marketing Executive, she cancelled 30 mins before the interview. I was very put off by this but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and my recruiter assured me that this would be rescheduled. He reached back out to me twice, with excuses and then ultimately today on February 10th when this process started January 10th said that the Marketing team no longer wanted an EA. All of which would have been fine, if I hadn't reached out February 4th asking for clarity and whether I should move on because I realize that plans and budget changes. This company is just as rude and selfish as you keep reading, they do not care about your time or the fact you probably have to take off work for their lengthy interview process. You will have to take that test, I found it to be hard but I got through it and you will have to take 4-6 more interviews for whatever reason and they just might waste your time. I totally understand everyone needs a check and this review might go ignored just like I ignored the reviews before I kept interviewing, just go with you gut on it. I fully believe if I would have gotten hired without a doubt I would have been treated just as terribly as I was during the interview process. I fully believe I dodged the biggest bullet. So get your money if you really need it, but if you have options in your job search, why stop here?
