I interviewed for a Junior Designer position at ICIS. The process was thorough and well-structured, spanning three rounds.
The first interview was with HR â a relaxed conversation covering the company overview, the role, and a few background questions.
The second round involved the Senior Designer and a Marketing Manager. It went deeper into my experience, motivation for joining, what stood out to me about the company, and my approach to design and feedback.
Following this, I completed a design task.
The third and final interview focused on the type of work environment and management style I was looking for.
The process felt respectful and transparent. The interviewers were professional and gave me a genuine sense of the culture â by the end, they were upfront that the environment is quite chaotic and fast-paced, which ultimately wasn't the right fit for what I was looking for.
Overall, a well-organised process with honest communication. I appreciated the transparency, even if the outcome wasn't a match.
