Short and to the point. The interview did not test technical ability as extensively as it could have. For the position, engineering ability and a discerning mind are important for success. There were two interviews total, both in person. First was with the team and team manager. Second was with the team director. The whole process, including negotiations lasted three weeks, including an interviewer's vacation week which postponed things. Overall a very efficient process with room yet to drill down deeper into abilities.
