I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Human8 (Manila, Manila) in Nov 2024
Interview
The interviewer is nice and friendly. Unfortunately, they mentioned during the interview that if I don't receive any update a week after the initial interview, then I probably did not pass the interview. I hope this practice change, atleast have a decency to email the candidate regarding their status.
Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for any confusion caused during the interview process. It seems there was a miscommunication on our end regarding the timeline for the second interview which lead to unclear expectations. Your input is very valuable, and we will work on improving our communication to ensure candidates are better informed moving forward.
We wish you continued success,
Positive experience

Application
I applied online. I interviewed at Human8 (Johannesburg) in May 2026
Interview
I applied online and received an invitation for an introductory call with the recruiter on the same day. Following the recruiter call, I was informed within the same week that I would be progressing to the next stage and received an invitation to interview with the hiring managers the following week.
After the initial interview, I was notified that I had successfully progressed and was advised that a case study would be sent within the next 2-3 weeks. I subsequently received the case study and was given approximately one week to complete it. The final stage consisted of an in-person interview, during which I presented my case study.
I received an offer the week following the final interview. The overall process took just under two months from application to offer. While it was a relatively lengthy process, this was communicated from the outset and I was kept updated throughout, which made the experience feel transparent and well managed.
Everyone I interacted with during the process was friendly, professional, and welcoming. The interviews felt like genuine conversations rather than interrogations, and I felt comfortable throughout the process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell us about yourself and your experience.
What industry would you least like to work with?
The questions felt tailored to my background, experience, and the role rather than being generic interview questions. It was clear that the interviewers had taken the time to review my CV beforehand, which made the discussions feel more natural and conversational.
It was quite an average interview, the interview process takes quite long. Still on-going. So far I have done 2 interviews and one upcoming case interview. All spanning about more than a motnh.
Interviewed in Feb ‘25. Initial call with an HR screeer then a virtual interview with rest of team. The process was simple, the team were nice and engaged. There weren’t too many stages and responses were quick throughout
