I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Huawei Technologies (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2023
Interview
I was very interested in this interview but don't think I will move forward. It was a 12m contract but 40/hr is the ceiling absolutely. That is low in the market for a contract senior technical recruiter. However, they require 5 days in the office. with 8:30-5:30 working hours. No exceptions, hectic. I don't even think the people who interviewed me were happy about that. No career plan for this role whatsoever. No title bump and they said people typically stay in this role for a few years... I would recommend this job for someone who is more junior with 1-year exp, loves the office, doesn't mind the commute to Markham every day, and looking for a quick career stop to just use this as a big name on your resume.
The entire process was centered around your resume. For recent graduates, they would also ask what you did on the weekends. And your understanding of the company. How to recruit an engineer.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Huawei Technologies (Markham, ON) in Jan 2024
