Interview
I applied via LinkedIn and was messaged by the recruiter to book some time in with her for a call with her. We spoke over the phone just over a week later, and all was very positive and it seemed like my experience aligned well with the role. I was emailed immediately after with a SQL test that I completed and returned a few days later - all very simple. The recruiter emailed me back saying thank you and that I would hear about next steps in a weeks time.
She did email back but saying that they had now filled the role. I appreciate that this can happen, but to start an interview with a new candidate leading them on for weeks with the prospects of progressing, only to fill the role and wasting my time. Next time, be honest with candidates.

Interview
Was invited to a first round interview with HR. Passed that stage and was given a task to assess my technical skills. Submitted the task just to receive an email three days later that the role has been filled. Very poor experience.

Question 1
Write some sql code to retrieve some mortgage data.
Informal phone calls with the HR, the head of data , a SQL test and a take home project. You are allowed to finish within the time schale you set for yourself. The interview process was very lengthy.
