I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hooters (Long Beach, CA) in Aug 2019
Interview
The first thing the hiring manager will notice is your appearance (obviously). There are definitely biases regarding the hiring manager's beauty preferences. My interview was very relax, he barely asked me any hard questions and I got the job on the spot.
Theres two interviews and then you have to do a course if you're hired. The course takes a bit of time to complete and just goes over Hooters rules and basic things, but you get paid for the time you're there.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Hooters (Lansing, IL) in Sep 2022
Interview
I had 2 interviews for the Lansing, IL location. The young ladies were kind and welcoming upon arriving. The first interview went well and I was scheduled for another interview the next day at 12:30. I got there at about 12:15 and didn’t interview until 12:50ish. I overheard the interviewer tell someone I was suppose to be there at 12 and would have to wait. Rather than saying this to me to let her know that I was told 12:30, she passive aggressively had me sit and wait. When finally interviewed, she was a bit rude and short with everything. They never sent email confirmations for interview times or responded via email.
