I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hollister Co. (London, England) in Sep 2017
Interview
Very chill, relaxed and laid back. Group interview but everyone still had a voice and definitely wasn't awkward like I expected it to be. There were eight people all together and we all had to share a fact about selves, which even if you don't get the job it is very useful as it builds confidence skills for future interviews.

Question 1
What is a current fashion trend which you enjoy wearing?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hollister Co. (Reading, PA) in Oct 2025
Interview
The interview was pretty simple, but it was stressful. They had me do an online interview, where they would ask a question then you had 30 seconds to think about your answer before you would be automatically recorded to answer the question. The questions were simple. They asked questions like,
"Why do you want to work at Hollister?"
"How would you sell an item to a customer?"
"Explain a time you had a difficult customer and how did you deal with it?'
It was stressful though because I felt like I had no time to think about what I had to say before it would automatically record. They also allowed no retakes on recordings, so if you messed up you couldn't fix it.
I'm aware this is probably because I was unprepared and it was my first interview that it was stressful to me. And I'm also aware that it reflects a real life in-person interview, but this was my experience. I'd definitely recommend searching up questions they might ask you and preparing what you would say. Best of luck!
I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Hollister Co. (Santa Clara, CA) in Jan 2015
Interview
The interview was a group interview with 2 other prospective employees, interviewer asked standard interview questions about how you'd deal with a coworker conflict, and what the word diversity means to you.
