I applied online. I interviewed at Hiya in Jun 2026
Interview
Talent acquisition screen, hiring manager, and then an on-site interview. On-site had a 90 minute timed product sense exercise and then a presentation immediately after that. Then the standard cross-functional interviews. Everyone was nice, but too formal. The exercise was VERY VAGUE even by typical product sense standards. Being grilled on a VAGUE project, that you just scrapped together UNDER PRESSURE, by a few people you JUST MET was a HORRIBLE experience. Plus many interviewers never did growth stuff before, so they had to be taught even basic definitions. They didn't set candidates up for success -- it is just whether candidates match their Amazon/MBA type and if they don't they're out.

Interview
There was an initial phone screen, a technical round, take-home assignment and a 6 hour on-site interview. Cool people/team, but the process is such a waste of time and energy. Technical loop questions were vague and lacked direction. I regret investing so much of my time.
