There was only one phone and one on-site interview. the process seems to be really simple and not technical at all. However, it was moving slowly and involved with several other contractors and the client. All parties need to approve for an offer. So I finally got the offer letter, signed and returned it. However, the company procrastinated the start date and told me the client has some issues with the funding after a couple of weeks (something needs Congress to approve! holy moly!). Then they never got back to me whether the issue was resolved or not. My feeling was that it was just an excuse. They probably found someone cheaper to do the job as they kept me waiting to commence (even after they extended an offer to me!!) Honestly, this was the first time I encountered an employer like that.
