Started with a very friendly recruiter. She quickly scheduled me with the hiring manager. The hiring manager grilled me on very specific coin related history which wasn’t really relevant, since it was a writing role. Types of stuff that would be easy to look up in references or on Google but wouldn’t know off the cuff. Then they tell me they’re looking for someone who is published which made sense for the role, but not for what the pay was. If you are a published writer, industry expert don’t accept this role for $20/hr. Then they asked for an extensive research, writing sample. Lots of work for a low paying role. Also, hiring manager said they would respond after the writing was submitted with a day and it was over a week.
