Interview
This was one of the worst interview processes of my professional career (8+years). The lack of candor, ardor and consideration in communication was felt throughout the process. I have interviewed for many jobs and have been successful at times and other times I didn't end up getting the role. Regardless of the outcome, there was a mutual respect especially as it relates to communication. After having 4 interviews with the company, I had no communication for several weeks. Each time I reached out I was told I would know the following week. The recruiter, who I will keep anonymous, should know that your communication efforts were pathetic and can be improved. The recruiter continued to lie each week, saying that a decision would be made the following week. On the timeliness in response, I applied to this role at the end of August, I received an informal rejection email at the end of October, having interviewed for the fourth time over a month ago. This group deserves to go underwater if they treat their potential employees with so little consideration. My biggest beef if that they could have told me a while ago if I had the role or not. I have one phrase to you HelloFresh, "Bye Bye Fresh." Maybe if you treated people with respect and communicated after interviewees spent hours preparing for your interviews you might have a fighting chance. It is my sincere hope that the Safeways, Walmarts, and Costcos of the world catch onto your failing business model and wipe you out. It won't take too long for them to realize that leveraging an existing supply chain, and creating ingredients to make a meal is not hard. Adieu. My one word to potential interviewees in the future, whether you get an offer or not, expect poor communication from HelloFresh. They are likely not a company worth joining.
