Screener phone interview with recruiter/HR - discussed basics of the job description and talked through my resume and skillset.
Interviewer was open and direct about salary which I appreciated and I reciprocated with a frank explanation of why I was applying for what might be considered closer to entry level position than I would have liked.
Was told to expect a call within a week to provide feedback and let me know next steps (interview with line manager) if they decided to move forward with me.
I followed up with an email immediately after the call, restating my responses to questions and discussion points and thanking them for their time..
I followed up by email again after the week had passed with no feedback - no response.
I followed up again by email after another week had passed - no response - no auto-reply, no out of office message or anything which would explain a lack of response - nothing.
Three weeks now and I have been ghosted - I'm an adult and a professional - I can take a simple one line rejection of that's all HealthEquity could manage but that is apparently too much.
To quote from their own careers page....
"We have what we call a “Purple” culture. Purple means being REMARKABLE! We all strive to live by our values of Building Meaningful Relationships, Doing the Right Thing, Pursue Excellence with Passion, Make a Difference, and Scale the Magic"
When I read that I actually felt like this was a very positive cultural mission statement and it actually make me want to apply to work there a little more.
Now I feel that perhaps they fell a little short of these values when all it would have taken was a sixty second phone call or a one line email.
