Internal HR and then to CEO
Its a first-time CEO, with no previous C-level experience and who is 100% about metrics and nothing else.
Let that sync in and you can probably understand how a Chief Revenue Officer interview might work.
Hint, not great.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
We simply agreed to disagree about what makes a company and sales organization successful
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Hanzo Archives (New York, NY)
Interview
I applied online and received an email inviting me for a conversation with HR in the UK. Our chat was brief and pleasant and she asked me to do an online aptitude/personality test before moving me on to speak with the hiring manager. I should've taken myself out of the process right then because I find those tests to be a waste of time and the kinds of companies that use them to be rather foolish. However, I obliged. Weeks later, in following up with the hiring manager I learned they chose to go with a candidate in NY despite the role being advertised as 100% remote. Alrighty then! I'm just grateful this was all done online/phone so they didn't waste even more of my time.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Hanzo Archives
Interview
There wasn't any interview. I received an email response that was poorly written that my application "has not been selected for further consideration". I am more than qualified for this position and to receive a poorly worded email without even a company letterhead is pretty bad in my opinion. I am glad that I did not progress any further down this path.
