How does your current position align with this one?

Interview
Pretty strange experience. I initially received an automatic rejection letter and then was reached out to directly to set up an interview. Standard questions about my background and what I am looking for, what interest me about them etc.
I later asked about the initial rejection and it was stated that it might have been an error due to multiple applications from me in their system for some reason and were unsure. That's fine but what I think some companies need to learn is language in auto messages. It was obviously an auto message but having statements in there such as "after careful consideration and review of your qualifications". Clearly it was not reviewed at all initially otherwise why reach out later.
The initial person I spoke with was kind enough but did spell my name wrong a few times while corresponding during email and did not get back on days stated that they would be following up. The latter might be due to the hiring manager. Oddly enough I was going to rescind my application the day after my last follow up email but they happened to send a new rejection letter (name spelled wrong) in response to my final inquiry on status since they had not gotten back the days they said they would. Overall not a great experience and seems like they aren't sure what they want and are less sure about their process. It does seem like it could be a great company but this experience (not for the rejection) but for how communication was handled was not great.

Interview
I applied online. Had a nice call w/ a recruiter, then was given a take-home test. I did really well, but I received an automated greenhouse rejection email. I must admit, it's super weird that on their website they state they believe in a diverse workforce, and giving people chances...
They then state that on their platform, they only hire from the top 10 colleges....The top 10 colleges are 90% of one race, class, and background. I feel that Handshake is another example of faux diversity.
