The scheduling and overall interview process itself was straightforward, but the actual interview experience was extremely disappointing.
My interview with Aisha Chisholm, Director of Sales Development, left a very negative impression. From the beginning of the call, the tone felt cold and disengaged. As the conversation progressed, the interaction became increasingly uncomfortable, particularly when discussing my professional background and career decisions. Several responses and follow-up questions came across as condescending rather than conversational or constructive.
In the mix of “grilling me” the role was not clearly explained during the interview. I repeatedly had to ask basic questions just to understand responsibilities and expectations.
I hope she was just having a bad day and doesn’t treat her employers or colleagues like this because it is extremely unprofessional and rude.
In addition, all of this seems to be consistent and apparent with the reviews I’ve found on Glassdoor. Negative reviews on behavioral issues and volatility, especially within the management of the sales teams.
I genuinely used to love handshake for what they did in terms of the job search but this has just ruined it for me.
This was all my opinion based on my experiences.
