Interview
Based on the email address used, they harvested my email from git and sent me a free entrance with a supposed cost of 50 CHF to anyone not "invited".
A herd of recent grads ate pizza and drank beer while the two sponsoring companies gave short presentations. One of them seemed to be remarkably more invested in technology than I had assumed from their bio and small size.
It was then theoretically possible to spend short periods talking to each of the companies but there were about 80 engineers and only ~12 companies.

Question 1
Companies made a big fuss over meeting any of us who know the latest JavaScript frameworks and there was a funny but rather inappropriate slight to PHP during the presentations. Very much like a fraternity party.
