Apparently you can forget any flexibility with the HR dept. at HCA in Nashville.
An external recruiter contacted me about the position. I was interested to learn more and so was set up for a phone interview with the company.
My interview was scheduled for 10am. I received an equally important phone call right before and was unable to answer when HCA called at 10:03. At 10:08 I called back but it just kept ringing. No voicemail. At the same time, the recruiter emailed me to say that HCA tried to call.
I emailed her back a screen shot of the number I was dialing and the message (call failed) that I kept getting after ringing through for so long. So I thought maybe my signal was not good even though I had full signal. So I asked if HCA could try calling me back.
Never got a response. So I called the recruiter and left a voicemail, still no response after a day so I called again and left another voicemail. The recruiter called me back and said the manager expressed frustration that I didn’t answer and so is no longer considering me.
Thank you HCA for showing me the type of management you employ there cause I definitely wouldn’t want to work for someone like that. I could understand if I didn’t call back till an hour after maybe, but I called back within five minutes! No telling what good talent your company is missing out on due to that type of management.
