Application
I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at HBK Engineering (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2018
Interview
It was an interesting Interview Process. You meet with 3 different people each person higher in the company than the previous. Then you have a lunch in the middle of it talking to younger members. Then the CEO Ron talks a little about the company background. Then they send you off into the office with an Mapping task.
The only annoying part is that they said they would get back to us in the following week in November to accommodate those with other offers. But they did not get back to me until end of January to where I accepted other and better offers.
I applied online and received an email from HR 2 days later. We spoke on the phone for 30 minutes and then I got a second round interview the 2 weeks after that because it was a Thanksgiving break. I found out I got the job 10 days after the second round interview.
The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at HBK Engineering (Baltimore, MD) in Apr 2022
Interview
Let’s outline the process- phone screen 15 minute. Interview- 1hr
2 weeks flyby no feedback from interview. I understand the workload and situation that recruiters and hiring managers go through when making a decision, but it’s very unprofessional to ghost candidates with no feedback after interview.
Totally wasted my time.
Called me to tell me they don't know whether they'll be able to hire or not. Told me to wait till January 2021 before they'll find out (this was in August of 2020).
Interview itself is very straightforward.
