The process began with a panel-style first interview that included the president, a senior leader, and someone from HR. It was a positive, high-level conversation that left a strong first impression.
The second interview was with the person who would have been my direct supervisor and another HR rep. That conversation also went well, and I was told to expect an offer letter the following week. Unfortunately, that offer never came, and communication stalled afterward.
Compensation was never discussed during any of the interviews, which added to the uncertainty. After more than a month of waiting—and having already passed up one offer—I accepted a competitive offer from another company. Once I communicated that, Guarantee reached out again and said the next step would be a technical assessment followed by a final interview with the CEO.
Although the people I met with were professional and the company itself has a great reputation, the overall interview process lacked transparency, clear communication, and a defined timeline, which made the experience more frustrating than it needed to be.
