1st interview - discussion with a 2 years experienced mechanical engineer, the engineering manager and the hr representative. Simple conversion about experience, education, personality and any questions related to the CV.
2nd step was a technical test. around 30 questions do be done in 45min without any documentation. A lot of questions required to lookup for equations, even on field not linked to mechanical engineering like electrical engineering. Additional test on intelligence (patterns, like an IQ test) and vocabulary. Not sure the latter was relevant, engineers aren't authors...
