I had a good technical interview that included several interesting and challenging live coding exercises. Despite receiving positive feedback overall, I unfortunately never heard back from the recruiter regarding a final offer or next steps.

Interview
1) phone call from a recruiter for 10 mins
2) technical round 1 hr: 2 easy/medium coding questions
3) hiring manager round: resume based questions
4) Client interview prep call: prep call before actually interviewing the client
After the next 2 weeks, I received a response that "there was no positive response from the client to schedule the next interview round." In other words, we were interviewing for no reason. complete waste of my time and energy. Overall time: 1.5 months
