I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Greystar in Mar 2026
Interview
My application was submitted in early February '26, and I received a request for an HR screen 90 days later. About 2 weeks after that is when I had my first and second interviews, where they made it seem the only question was which team I would be assigned. After that last interview at the beginning of April, they went no contact for a month and would not respond to emails. A response at the beginning of May advised that the team selected another candidate.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Greystar (Mohali, Punjab)
Interview
The interview is basic with some MCQs and a virtual technical round. Pretty straightforward. As far as the interview is concerned it's okay but trouble begins after that. After you clear all the rounds they'll send you an email and even confirm it on the phone that you've been selected. Then they'll ask you for all the documents (Payslips, previous Offer Letter, etc.). Then they disappear. You have to ask them about updates regarding the offer letter and they'll just ignore you. You'll receive a call regarding salary negotiation and they themselves will offer you a number and after you agree on a number they'll tell you that fill out a candidate form and there will be a normal HR round about your current city and other basic stuff. Then again they disappear. After that they will tell you that we can't offer you the amount that they themselves offered because they need to make sure that your pay is in PARITY (The guy kept repeating) with the other team members. Eventually if you agree to negotiate then again they'll disappear. Then one fine day they'll just randomly text you that we have decided not to move ahead with your offer. No other offers nothing. They make you believe everything is done as you'll receive all the genuine emails and then after you've said no to other offers because Greystar makes you believe that everything is done, they'll just leave you hanging with no other offers left and they're arrogant enough to say that you can do whatever you want and it's not just me, it has happened to many people I know. So, Greystar's hiring team is quite unprofessional and they will waste your time. Wasted one month in my case. The guy who handled my process was Arjun Sharma and all he cares about is a candidate form so that it counts as a candidate he brought in for interview and then he'll ghost you. Quite unethical. Not a good experience.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Greystar (Houston, TX) in Apr 2023
Interview
Very short and swift, I only had 2 rounds of interviews, one with a recruiter and the other with my manager. It was all done virtually and received an offer right after.
